How does the calculator work?

In order for the calculator to generate calculations, you must first enter your values ​​or confirm the default
The minimum amount of data that must be entered to run the calculator is the cooling and heating efficiency and the price of electricity and gas.

Average load means - average seasonal percentage load for a given heating or cooling mode

For standard conditions, we can assume 50%,
In the case of a glazed facade on the south side, we can assume a higher value for the cooling mode, e.g. 65-75%
In the case of an industrial process where we have constant heat gains or losses, we can also assume higher values, e.g. 75-90%

The calculations used in the calculator take into account the seasonal efficiency of various systems in heating and cooling mode

Additionally, in the case of modern Panasonic direct evaporation systems, algorithms for advanced energy saving functions have also been included.

The increasingly used by investors gas-electric hybrid system cooperating with photovoltaic cells has also been taken into account.

 



Method of presenting results


The calculations performed are presented in the form of 3 graphs.

    • The calculator calculates the annual heating and cooling costs separately for 10 standard solutions available on the market
    • Additionally, it summarises the annual total costs of heating and cooling the facility.
    • The last chart shows the annual operating savings depending on the system selection compared to standard solutions.
