Using available heat for efficient cooling. More than a decade ago, Fahrenheit turned this vague idea into reality by developing adsorption technology. The unit is built analogously to a classic compressor chiller, except that instead of mechanical energy, it uses heat as a power source. Using this principle, it not only saves electricity by reducing operating costs but is also environmentally friendly. The cooling unit works on the adsorption principle. By using two adsorbers, the cold will be generated cyclically.
The Fahrenheit adsorption unit can be used practically anywhere where cooling is required in a small and medium range. By combining modules, we can effectively implement projects with a total cooling capacity of 310 kW. Similarly to a standard chiller, the electrically powered unit is ideal for cooling offices or, for example, public buildings. In combination with one of: Cogeneration (CHP), solar collectors, local or central heating network systems or simply waste heat, adsorption units provide the highest possible level of energy efficiency.
Additionally, our units can operate as a heat pump during the winter, supporting heating systems in buildings

Recooler – Heat Dissipation
Fahrenheit provides the necessary secondary cooling by removing excess supplied heat, making it the ideal equivalent to chillers.
Compressor Unit
Managing capacity at extreme temperatures or covering periods of maximum demand.
To guarantee an efficient load factor during year-round cooling, a compressor module can be connected to the system. This ensures that the required cooling capacity is available at 100% even at high outside temperatures up to 45 °C.
System Separation – Water / Water-Glycol-Mix
To fully meet the needs of customers, SorTech offers the possibility of separating the system. After using prefabricated components, we will completely separate the internal and external cooling system. Thanks to the proper operation, the secondary system will be able to operate below the temperature 0 °C outside. ®
